The St. Elizabeth Catholic Church Jazz & Food Festival is proudly presented by St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, a community of about 100 families with a rich and proud history. This parish is rich with history including the honor of being served by the first African-American woman, Sister Cora Marie Billings, who was the Pastoral Coordinator. Priest from the Catholic Diocese of Richmond continue on the legacy of service and generosity she so graciously set for the church. Today, St. Elizabeth Catholic Church continues to provide support and outreach to its parishioners as well as members of the Highland Park Community through events such as the Jazz & Food Festival.
ince its inception, the purpose for the St. Elizabeth Jazz & Food Festival has always been to serve as the sole annual fundraiser for this Parish and its various ministries, and most importantly to promote evangelization among St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, the members of its parish and Highland Park Community for which it dwells.
We are asking for your support. Please make this year the best yet by making a donation of at least $5 either at the gate or here online, the cost to attend the event, and support our different vendors while you’re there.
